If you are a Thrivent Member or work for a Matching Gift Company, you can double or triple your charitable support to LHS.

Donors who are also “benefit members” of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and are aged 16 and older are eligible to participate in The GivingPlus Program. Designed to help members support Lutheran educational institutions and outreach ministry organizations at enhanced levels, this program will match donor gifts at a level of one dollar for every two donor dollars up to $300 per year. In other words, if you make a $600 gift to LHS, Thrivent will match that gift by contributing another $300 to LHS.

Many of our donors work for companies that offer Corporate Matching Gift programs as an employee benefit. Often, these companies will match your charitable gifts at the $2 for $l level up to a specified dollar amount; and some companies will match your gift at $3 or $4 for each $1 you gift. Please contact your Human Resources Office to obtain program information and a matching gift form. A list of these companies is also available from staff at the LHS Foundation 419-861-5502.
