Challenge gifts are very simple and powerful ways of leveraging your charitable gift by challenging other donors, board members, staff, and congregations to match your giving. This is especially effective in attracting new donors and energizing current donors who appreciate giving more when they know their gift is attracting matching gift dollars from a generous supporter.
