Corporate Services
- Senior Vice President for Youth, Housing and Community Services
- Lutheran Homes Society, Inc. has an upcoming opening for our Senior Vice President for Youth, Housing and Community Services. This position is responsible for leading, designing and oversight of care and services of the organization through a collaborative process with organizational leaders that is reflected in long-range, strategic, and operational plans of all youth, housing and community services.
- The Senior Vice President leads and directs initiatives that deliver quality resident care and support services identified in each service delivery area. Additionally, this individual facilitates communication methodology to promote objectives and efforts to integrate resident and client care and support services accomplishments throughout the organization.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration and at least five years of administrative responsibility is required. Prior experience in health care administration or a related field is required. This position requires strong administration experience, a proven track record of administrative accomplishments, and a passion for social ministry.

- Labor/Employee Relations Administrator
- Lutheran Homes Society, Inc. has an upcoming opening for a Labor/Employee Relations Administrator. This position is responsible for the support of our ministries through the development and implementation of procedures, programs, policies, and practices utilized in the area of labor and employee relations.
- The Labor/Employee Relations Administrator acts as the liaison between ministry executive directors, HR representatives, managers, and supervisors in interpreting, educating, recommending, and implementing components of collective bargaining agreements for affected ministries. Additionally, this position will develop and coordinate employee relation programs, initiatives, and strategies to increase retention and decrease turnover.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources/labor relations or a related field and 3-5 years of experience in a human resources field with direct labor (collective bargaining) and employee relation interaction required. This position requires strong employee relation experience and a passion for social ministry. Regular regional travel will be necessary.

- PRN/Contingent Therapists
- Lutheran Homes Society, Inc. is currently searching for Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Assistants to build our current PRN/contingent pool. We have four long-term care locations (East Toledo, Holland, Sandusky, and Napoleon) where your skills can be utilized.
- Coverage during the week is a current need, with weekend coverage needed as well. Successful candidates will be licensed in their appropriate discipline and have a strong commitment to quality care, with previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Family & Youth Services
- Residential Treatment/Direct Care Staff for Youth & Young Adults
- LHS Family & Youth Services requires strong, confident staff members, who have the capacity to deal with high-risk youth who have behavioral and emotional difficulties. Youth may experience frequent emotional crises and be assaultive and/or destructive. You must have the skills to verbally de-escalate a crisis and to use mature judgment with a youth who is out of control. You will need leadership skills, milieu management skills, high energy levels, self discipline, a cool approach to volatile situations, reliability, flexibility, and dedication to work with the youth.
- Experience working with high-risk youth, or a background in coaching, military or security is preferred. A bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus. Our pay range is $12.13-$14.16 per hour. For full-time employees, we offer an excellent benefit package which includes health, vision, dental, short term disability, life insurance and vacation pay. Discretionary days and 401(k) apply after one year. We are hiring for full- and part-time positions.

Napoleon Campus

We are currently accepting applications for full-time on first and third shifts. These positions will assist in providing direct care to residents in our skilled unit, ensure quality resident care, and oversee clinical functions of the nursing department. The successful candidates will have a current Ohio RN license, previous long-term care experience, and a strong commitment to quality care.

- Lutheran Home at Toledo, a 99-bed long-term care and short-term skilled rehab facility, seeks an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) committed to providing compassionate, quality care. The DON oversees and directs day-to-day operations of the nursing department.

- Lutheran Home at Toledo has an immediate opening for a MDS Coordinator to work as a member of the nursing management team. This position is responsible for coordinating the development and completion of the resident assessment process in accordance with the requirements of federal and state regulations. The successful candidate will have leadership skills, current Ohio RN licensure, and strong assessment and communication skills.
