Corporate Services

Billing Specialist

Lutheran Homes Society has an immediate opening for a full-time Billing Specialist. This position is responsible for centralized billing and collections for private pay, Medicare and Medicaid accounts in a multi-site, fast-paced Social Ministry Organization.

Long-term care billing experience in a skilled nursing environment is required. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be computer literate in Windows and Microsoft Office. Accuracy and organization skills are highly necessary for this position. We provide an excellent salary and benefit package that includes: a 401(k); health, life, dental, disability and vision care insurance; along with paid vacation and holiday time off.

PRN/Contingent Therapists

Lutheran Homes Society, Inc. is currently searching for Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Assistants to build our current PRN/contingent pool. We have four long-term care locations (Oregon, Holland, Sandusky, and Napoleon) where your skills can be utilized.

Successful candidates will be licensed in their appropriate discipline and have a strong commitment to quality care, with previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Family & Youth Services

Residential Youth Direct Care Staff

LHS Family & Youth Services requires strong, confident staff members, who have the capacity to deal with high-risk youth who have behavioral and emotional difficulties. Youth may experience frequent emotional crises and be assaultive and/or destructive.

The candidate must have the skills to verbally de-escalate a crisis and use mature judgment with a youth who is out of control. The candidate will need leadership skills, milieu management skills, high energy levels, self discipline, a cool approach to volatile situations, reliability, flexibility, and dedication. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

The organization is hiring for third-shift (MUST BE AWAKE THROUGH THE ENTIRE SHIFT) positions. Experience working with high-risk youth or a background in coaching, military, or security is preferred. We offer a competitive wage and benefits for full-time employment. The facility we are currently hiring for is located in Liberty Center, Ohio.

Napoleon Campus

RN Charge Nurse

Lutheran Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is searching for a dedicated and caring individual committed to providing quality care and service. This full-time, second-shift position will assist in providing direct care to residents on our skilled unit, ensure quality resident care, and oversee clinical functions of the nursing department. The successful candidate will have a current Ohio RN license, previous long-term care experience, and a strong commitment to quality care.

STNAs

Lutheran Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking for individuals who are interested in working in an atmosphere dedicated to the quality care of our residents. We are currently accepting applications for part-time, second-shift STNAs and contingent aides on all three shifts. Candidates must have a valid Ohio nurse aide license and previous long-term care experience is preferred.

Sandusky Campus

LPNs

Lutheran Memorial Home is currently looking to fill Licensed Practical Nurse positions. These positions include every other weekend, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts during the week.

Candidates must have a valid Ohio LPN license and previous facility experience is strongly preferred.

STNAs

Lutheran Memorial Home is currently looking to fill State Tested Nursing Assistant positions. These positions include every other weekend, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts during the week.

Candidates must have a valid Ohio nurse aide license and previous facility experience is strongly preferred.

Holland Campus

Chaplain Assistant

Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek is currently searching for a person to fill the role of a Chaplain Assistant. This position is primarily clerical in nature and requires computer skills, knowledge of worship bulletin design, and piano skills. This is a part-time position working 20 hours a week, which could include some weekends and/or evenings.

STNAs
