Kettle Run is an attractive, affordable senior apartment community for persons age 62 and over.  It offers a beautiful setting along with a caring staff.

Kettle Run is managed by LHS Housing Services, which has a noble history of providing seniors a home-like environment and offering services that enable residents to remain independent. Following are some of the amenities  provided:

  • Living room with dining space, bath and kitchen
  • Range, refrigerator and carpeting included
  • Individually controlled heat and air conditioning
  • Central hallway to lobby, social areas, laundry, and mailboxes
  • Convenient parking and pleasant grounds
  • Cable TV available

Maintenance Services

  • Exterior Maintenance - lawn care, and snow and trash removal
  • Interior Maintenance - general repairs to include electrical, heating, plumbing and air conditioning systems

LHS Housing Services is committed to helping residents maintain their independence. A Service Coordinator is on site to assist residents in procuring services such as meals, home health care, and housekeeping -- all which help in maintaining one’s independence.

Transportation

Transportation is available through local senior transportation services.

Opportunities are provided for recreational and religious programs, social events, outings and daily peer contact. A respect for privacy and a calm residential setting are also important aspects of living at Kettle Run.

Residents pay thirty percent of adjusted gross income. A minimum of $25 per month is required. All utilities except telephone and cable are included in rent.

Eligibility

Because LHS Housing Services develops communities under special financing arrangements aimed at encouraging housing opportunities for the elderly, an income limit is required. Occupants must be under the following gross income limits*:

  • $18,850 gross annual, single person*
  • $21,500 gross annual, couple*

*subject to change per federal regulations

Income from all sources must be verified as part of the initial certification process. Annual recertification is also required. All information acquired is kept confidential.
