Luther Crest is a ministry of Lutheran Homes Society, which has a noble history of providing seniors a home-like environment and offering services that enable residents to remain independent. Following are some of the amenities provided:

Social Services
Lutheran Homes Society is committed to helping residents maintain their independence. A Service Coordinator is on site to assist residents in procuring services such as meals, home health care, and housekeeping -- all which help in maintaining one's independence.
Transportation
Transportation is available through local senior transportation services.
Programs
Opportunities are provided for recreational and religious programs, social events, outings and daily peer contact. A respect for privacy and a calm residential setting are also important aspects of living at Luther Crest.
Rent
Residents pay thirty percent of adjusted gross income. A minimum of $25 per month is required. All utilities except telephone and cable are included in rent.

Eligibility
An income limit is required for residents, because Lutheran Homes Society develops communities under special financing arrangements aimed at encouraging housing opportunities for the elderly, primarily age 62 years or older. In addition, 10% of the units can be rented to individuals of any age with mobility or hearing impairments who would benefit from the special design features. All occupants must be under the following gross income limits:

Income from all sources must be verified as part of the initial certification process. Annual recertification also is required. All information acquired is kept confidential.
