These services include exterior maintenance, such as lawn care and snow and trash removal, and interior maintenance of the electrical, plumbing, and heating and air conditioning systems. A wide variety of social opportunities are made available to residents, if they wish to participate. Activities vary and may include card parties, bingo, Bible studies, lunch outings, and monthly birthday parties. Check the monthly activity calendar for a full schedule of events. The LHS housing ministry also has several buses that can be used for scheduled outings at little or no cost to residents. Transportation can also be arranged through local senior transportation services.
Lutheran Homes Society is committed to helping residents age in the setting of their choice. A Service Coordinator is available on site to assist residents in procuring services such as meals, home health care, and housekeeping – all which help in maintaining an independent lifestyle.
Rent is $600 per month for a one-bedroom apartment and $718 for a two-bedroom apartment. All utilities except telephone and cable are included in the rent. A one-month deposit is required at move-in.
