Luther Hills is an attractive, affordable senior apartment community for persons age 62 and older. It offers a beautiful setting along with a caring staff.

Luther Hills is managed by Lutheran Housing Services, which has a noble history of providing seniors a home-like environment and offering services that enable residents to remain independent. Following are some of the amenities provided:

Maintenance Services

Exterior Maintenance - lawn care, snow and trash removal

Social Services

Lutheran Housing Services is committed to helping residents maintain their independence. A Service Coordinator is on site to assist residents in procuring meals, home health care, housekeeping, etc. -- all which help in maintaining one’s independence.

Transportation

Transportation is provided for local shopping and banking as well as occasional enrichment programs.

Programs

Opportunities are provided for recreational and religious programs, social events, outings and daily peer contact. A respect for privacy, and a calm residential setting are also important aspects of living at Luther Hills.

Rent

Rent for a one bedroom will be $549 per month, including gas, heat, electric, water and sewer. Rent for a two bedroom is $588. A deposit will be required at the time of move-in.

Eligibility

Because Lutheran Housing develops communities under special financing arrangements aimed at encouraging housing opportunities for the elderly, an income limit is required. Occupants must be under the following gross income limits:

$24,720 gross annual, single person*
$28,260 gross annual, couple*

*subject to change per federal regulations
