Lutheran Homes Society relies on the multitude of talents and abilities, diverse training, and dedicated service of nearly 1,300 volunteers who make LHS what it is, a compassionate community of caring that serves children, youth, and elders. A wealth of volunteer opportunities exists, ranging from helping elders in our long term care and assisted living facilities, gardening project at our housing sites, and support, and service on our various subsidiary ministry boards. We always welcome nominations of those who could bring special career or life experiences to their volunteer leadership service on the LHS, Inc. board, the subsidiary ministry boards, and the Ministry Advancement Committee.
